Well, this is from 2007 so it's a ways past but this is a lovely entry to Georgie.

I went through the same with our dog actually about the same time. I remember how peaceful she was going to sleep. I rue the day that it happens with Marmalade, but I know it's coming...soon.

It's all we can do, though, give them a good life and try to comfort them as the end rolls around.

Wow, you really loved Georgie a lot. Very sweet to read yours and Georgie's story. It is difficult to say goodbye, but you gave her a wonderful life here, what a gift for her and you.

Could anyone give me advice on how to use stainless steel bowls for slumping. Does one need to sandblast them first or are they good to go as is?

Hi Peter,
It looks like it has been a couple of years since you posted this. I have a question though. I fired a couple of small 2x2' pieces and the copper foil turned out as it did in your picture. When I try to fire a bigger piece (10 x 10) the foil goes black. I like the aqua and want the bigger piece to turn out with blues. Any suggestions. Share your glass type and firing scheduel?
